Golden optics were full of misery; pain. She had even been watching mates; jealous of them. She had a 'mate' or, at least, that was what he wanted everyone to believe. He didn't want to be thrown out of the pack. At least, that was how Lola saw it. Her stomach; also swelling slightly, was annoying her; she couldn't hide the fact anymore. She couldn't believe what he had done; but, at least now, she knew, and understood. She was a host for his pups! His golden optics; always malicious and nasty to her, might of been the same hue as hers, but were as different as his personality and hers. Why had she introduced herself to him? She only had herself to blame for that. But what he had done was outrageous. If Layla knew...a jolt of hope began to grow in her chest. Then, died...remembering what he had said to her, "Try anything funny, though, and I won't hestitate to kill you.". She wished she had ignored his warning. But, she couldn't ignore him telling her to say she was his mate. Being naturally obedient; thanks to her element, she was powerless to argue. Plus, she didn't want any harm to come to the unborn pups, even if they were Kamikaze's.....

Kamikaze watched her from afar, sitting atop a small cliff. The whelps were growing, as he could tell from her slightly rounded stomach. He yawned lazily and continued watching over her. He couldn't take any chances. Even if she did seem loyal, he wouldn't risk plans on that thought.

A sleek, cream pelt shone in the light, one golden, and one icy blue, orb following the creature's muzzle towards Lola. 'Twas Lola's sister, layla, Alphess of the pack. Layla sat beside Lola, startling her. "Um, hi, Layla?" Lola said, startled. "Are you hiding something from me Lola?" layla asked quietly. "O-of course not...." Lola mumbled.

Golden oculars narrowed as they saw the alphena. A growl rumbled from his throat, but he didn't move. His auds stood erect on his darkened crania as he listened in on their words.

layla's orbs were steadily watching her sister, then flickerd to her sister's stomach. She smiled slightly. "Someones lying." She observed. Lola blinked, then realised she was sorta caught. "I -um..."

Hearing what Layla had said, he stood up and padded to where they stood. He nuzzled Lola and then switched his gaze to the alphena. "Good evening, Layla," he said, a one-in-a-lifetime sane smile creasing his maw.

Lola stared at him for a second, a very pale shade of red appearing on her cheeks. Layla smiled back to the brute, then giggled slightly. "Back to you Kamikaze. I suppose you two are mates?" Layla asked, smiling to Kamikaze, then the slightly-blushing Lola.

He dipped his maw slightly. "Yes, we are," he said, glancing at Lola's bulging stomach. "To think, pups of our own." The rare smile remained plastered on his muzzle.

Layla smiled. "Take care of her. I s'pose I'll be seeing you-both of you, around." Layla smiled, standing and nodding to each wolven. Lola gave her sister a weak, half-smile.

Lola smiled. "Bye." "Bye Lola, goodbye Kamikaze." layla smiled back to her sister, nodded to kamikaze, then padded away, tassle wagging happily.

Kamikaze sighed slightly, accidently letting a look of relief on his face. "That was too close," he said, suddenly glaring at Lola. "You should have been able to handle that on your own."

"Sorry..." Lola said in a quiet voice; blush no longer there.

He snorted and padded to the edge of a small pond. He sat on his haunches and gazed out at the water.

Lola sighed quietly, she couldn't ever do anything that pleased him. She wondered whether to join him, or not. She decided not too
